Autumn Pond

Lauriston Castle is quite close to where I live. I keep returning to paint this small pond at the front of the house. Even though I always gravitate to the same spot, it's different each time I visit. This was a crisp October day with the sun catching the last few golden leaves and the duckweed on the surface of the water.
