The Transformation

A brilliant, sunny winter's day at Figgate Park, Edinburgh. For once the snow here was deep and powdery, and there was a sense of excitement in the air. Everything is transformed after a snowfall.
I sat near the boardwalk to paint this scene acoss the pond, and enjoyed the sun while it lasted.
