Alny's Pond

I sat in my friend Alny's garden on a beautiful summer's day to paint this little scene. The pond is half-hidden behind a hedge, and it appears like a magic! The strong sunlight pierces the foliage refracting light over the surface of the water. And the white waterlilies float in peace.
I was kept company by a flock of chiff chaffs and a pair of dragonflies. Heavenly.
Framed with a dark green border, in a deep, off-white, hand-finished frame.
