Falls at Cammo, Edinburgh
Oil on 30.5x30.5cm (12x12") panel, mounted and framed.
A scramble down the bank and along the rocks led me to this secluded spot. Years ago there was a sluice nearby, and it's easy to imagine a working mill here from the force of the river. I used a very limited palette to capture the water and the rocks. I was delighted when it was sought out by a collector from America.
