Oil on 30x30cm (12x12") panel, mounted and framed.
I'm rather taken with the slightly abstract quality of these lily pads floating in the blue and green reflections. I enjoyed applying the thick oil paint to create a heavily impasto surface with intense colours. If you are looking for a strong statement, this is the painting for you.
The piece is framed in a deep, off-white, hand-finished moulding.
