Figgate Park is a place I like to go and paint. This local wild area is an ideal spot to reach if it's been snowing.
This painting depicts the end of the day, when the sky is magical, the snow glows eerily in the receding light, and it's time to go home to the warmth.
It's framed in a wide off-white, hand-finished frame which sets it off beautifully.
