Step into a world of vibrant blooms. A larger studio piece of the dusky pink poppies called 'Patty's Plum' from my neighbour's garden. These take centre stage, surrounded by a chorus of blue and red flowers bobbing  in the breeze. The play of light and shadow give the painting a sense of movement and vitality.
The surface of the picture is highly textured and enhanced with touches of gold oil pastel.
